Zach’s Pack was founded in 2019 following a diagnosis of Ewing Sarcoma—an aggressive and rare form of cancer that often lacks sufficient research funding and support resources. What began as a personal journey quickly revealed a much larger need: stronger community support and continued investment in research for those facing sarcoma diagnoses.
In the early days, friends and family rallied together to provide encouragement, hope, and financial support during treatment. That collective effort became the foundation of Zach’s Pack—proof that when a community comes together, real impact is possible.
In 2020, the first Zach’s Pack 5K was created as a way to raise funds, spread awareness, and bring people together for a cause bigger than any one individual. What started as a small, local event has grown into an annual tradition, supported by an expanding community united by compassion and purpose.
Today, Zach’s Pack honors Zach’s legacy by continuing to grow its reach and impact. Through fundraising events and community partnerships, we support sarcoma research and help individuals and families navigate the emotional and financial challenges that come with a cancer diagnosis.
Zach’s Pack exists to turn community support into action—and to ensure that no one faces this journey alone.
